Patrick Muiri is the glue that holds Kenyan Riders together in Iten. He runs a tight ship, and gets things done. Whether it's getting a passport for one of the cyclists, or looking after the needs of Mwangi, or hustling for a better deal with the rent money or a lawyer, Patrick is our go-to man.
Nicholas first met Patrick when he was a cyclists, and after he left the sport, he remained, first as a soigneur, then a handyman, and now the general manager of the Kenyan Riders camp.
In 2017, he expects to be back in the thick of racing as an assistant DS in Kenyan races.
Patrick’s motto: GET THE JOB DONE.
