A school-going member in our squad. He is a Kikuyu and Keiyo tribesman from the areas around Eldoret. One day, his school principal wanted someone to represent the school in a cross-country running competition. Without really training, he went and finished "3rd or 4th, I can't remember." In Eldoret, the heart of running country in Kenya, that counts for seriously good talent.
